Your colors are pretty rough, it seems like you don't know whether or not it should be vibrant or moody sort of color tones, so it creates a confusing sort of atmosphere and environment. Also the only exceptionally well animated sequence was during the robot fight, besides that a lot of the perspective gets messed up and the character has no real weight. Also, you like, tweened some shit at the end when he runs over to the chest, c'mon man, that looked awful. Your character design was a bit cluttered and could have once again been colored in a more appropriate way, it seems like all of his colors don't necessarily fit his character. The song was pretty good, but no sound effects really killed it. Also i know you've been working on this for several months now, but yeah, hopefully your next thing will look better. take some time to practice animation and shit before hopping into your next project.

hey! First, thanks for your honest critique.
You're absolutely right about the colours, and shading especially. I'm in the midst of experimenting with all that and learning what direction I wanna take.

And perspective you're absolutely right, and in failing a lot of shots in this I feel like I learned something to carry over in to another project.

As for tweening.. yeah. Nothing to say there, not sure what I was goin for, you're right again.

i was delightfully surprised.
truthfully, i'm not the biggest jam cave fan, its a style of humor that i don't really like yet i have respect for it, and i would say that this cartoon is a better example of the jam caves work. the humor was cutesy and the dialogue made me feel very, "christmassy" (like, jolly or some shit i dunno). The Darth Vader mom was also pretty hot so that was cool, and i like all the painted shit like the Luke and Vader figures. there was a lot of tweeny stuff in there that could've easily been replaced by frame by frame, but the extreme poses were solid enough to justify it.
it might not be exactly my cup of tea, but never the less it is still a cup of tea i can enjoy and have a lot of respect for. great work.

Thanks man, we know we have a lot of things to improve (specially in the writing, but it's a bit hard when you have to rush things for a 48 hours challenge). Anyway, I wish everyone with a "dislike" opinion would be as respectful and mature as you :P

here's the deal,
having memes of Ryan storm that you didn't make and drawing crazy urban towel faces wont make you urban towel, sorry to be the asshole here but if no one else is gonna say it i then guess i will.
try finalizing your lines so they don't look so rough, also, why are his eyes grey? it doesn't fit with the color pallet you've chosen, witch isn't much of a diverse pallet to begin with.
i don't get the jokes either, a "hot girl" comes out of the screen an the guy gets a boner (and turns into an urban towel drawing for some reason), then a black Santa jerks him off and south park plays. like, what?
whatever man, i hope you get better at art, practice anatomy, practice line art, and practice writing.

there were only 2 ryanstorm memes, and one urban towel reference, I'm not trying to be anyone else, the only reason why I even did it because Bill suggested it to me. I guess I can agree with you on the color palette, but honestly this was just some shitty filler, so I never really did too much cleanup, but I am working harder with cleanup and color palettes and shading more on my next cartoons I'm working on. You'd get the joke if you saw the Ring, the Black Santa was just lul random humor and I have no idea why you're bringing up the South Park clip as it has nothing to do with the actual cartoon, just the outro. And I will get better, thanks.
